A Mesmerizing 2023 Santa Fe Opera Season
Last year saw the first full season of the Santa Fe Opera after the shutdowns of the Covid Pandemic in 2020 and 2021 and it was just as spectacular as always. In 2023, we expect more of the same. Somehow, this amazing series of performances in the high deserts of New Mexico finds a way to get better and better each year.
The open-air venue of the Santa Fe Opera has been called “one of the handsomest operatic settings in the Western Hemisphere” and a “miracle in the desert” – two descriptions that we think say it all. Moreover, in 2022, the Santa Fe Opera was awarded by the 2022 International Opera Awards as the Festival of the Year; a true testament to just how special these performances and the adjacent experiences are.
