Los Alamos County Ice Rink Events
Skate With Santa
Kick off your holiday season with this family-friendly event! Santa and his helpers will be visiting the ice rink to spread Christmas cheer, interact with the kids, and hand out candy canes. You may also have the chance to get a picture with St. Nick himself, so be sure to bring your cameras!
Luminaria Skate
Each Christmas Eve, the Luminaria Skate event attracts couples and families from all over the region. Quiet holiday music, luminaries, and holiday lights are used to create a cheerful, inviting, and romantic atmosphere. Free coffee and hot chocolate are also included.
Adult Broomball
Take the game of hockey to a whole new level by participating in an adult broomball game. This unique sport is very much like a combination of hockey and soccer. Two teams consisting of six players use a broom to move the ball up and down the ice. However, instead of skates, players are required to wear tennis shoes. It’s a fun and memorable game that you’ll want to play over and over again!
