The Santa Fe Opera is truly one of the world’s leading opera festivals. The 2012 Santa Fe Opera performance schedule includes Tosca, The Pearl Fishers, Maometto II, King Roger and Arabella. Even an opera novice can enjoy and understand any of these operas because every seat offers an opera title screen that does instantaneous translations for you! You can also enhance your opera experience by participating in one of the “backstage tours” or one of the “prelude talks“. The prelude talks are lively and informative talks that are offered before most performances and they are FREE to ticket holders. Backstage tours allow you to go behind the scenes and learn about the world of opera production. These are 1-hour tours that are given Monday – Friday at 9 AM, through August 24, 2012.
