There’s something romantic about horseback riding in New Mexico. In part, it’s because horseback riding in New Mexico harkens back to the romanticized wild west era, but it’s also because of the breathtaking scenery you’ll enjoy. Imagine the hot sun overhead, cool desert breezes at your back, and the ever-changing mountainous high-desert terrain unfolding before you.
Horseback riding in New Mexico is quiet, too, with the clip-clop of the horse hooves sometimes the only thing you hear – punctuated occasionally by birds or the deep sighs of relief that only come when you’ve truly unplugged.
