Visit Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs This Winter
The healing waters of Ojo Caliente have held an essential role in New Mexican culture for thousands of years. Their water source is an underground volcanic aquifer, which has long been believed to hold healing properties.
Due to a fire in 2020, Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort was subsequently closed for restoration. Although some elements of construction are still ongoing, Ojo Caliente is once again opened to the public. Call ahead to reserve your hot springs entry.
Day-use guests have the option of soaking in the communal pools all day or reserving one of the private outdoor pools for a more intimate experience. Advance reservations for either experience are highly encouraged. Both types of appointments include the use of a towel and locker. You’re welcome to bring in your robe and sandals, but robes are available for rental as well.
In addition to soaking in the fantastic private or communal pools, you’ll also find a range of other activities available to you at Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort. Between soaking sessions, take a yoga class or get outside for a bit of hiking or biking on the surrounding trails. Spa treatments in their state-of-the-art spa have also resumed, and are a perfect way to end your time at this incredible New Mexico hot spring.
Finally, before you head back to our New Mexico Bed and Breakfast for the evening, savor a meal at Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs’ restaurant, The Artesian. The seasonal menus are delicious and are sure to cap off your experience perfectly.
